How is consignment different from a trade-in?
A trade-in is the dealer's wholesale offer, what they think they can flip your car for. Consignment is the retail price, minus an agreed commission. For a luxury car, that gap is typically thousands, often tens of thousands of dollars.
How much do you charge?
One agreed commission rate, set before we list. No marketing fees, no admin fees, no surprise deductions. The exact rate depends on the car and the target sale price. We confirm it in writing before you sign.
How long does a typical sale take?
Most consigned vehicles sell within 2 to 6 weeks of listing. Some go in days. We agree a listing period upfront and review pricing together if it runs longer than expected.
Where does my car sit while it's listed?
On display at either our Gold Coast showroom (Miami, QLD) or our Canberra showroom (Fyshwick, ACT). Indoor, secure, fully insured, presented exactly how buyers at this price point expect.
What if it doesn't sell?
Nothing changes hands. You owe nothing and the car comes back. We'll only ever recommend consigning if we genuinely believe we can sell it, so this is rare.
Do you handle finance payouts and contracts?
Yes. If there's finance owing, we coordinate the payout directly with your lender at settlement. Contracts, rego transfer, buyer ID checks, all handled by us. You sign once.
